Like so many other performing artists, Spirit experienced the disappointment of a season cut short due to COVID-19. The members were grateful though for the few opportunities they did get to share what they had been working on. The music seemed to deeply affect the audience, and at each show, they experienced hushed crowds who seemed mesmerized by Keiko Abe’s beautiful and powerful music.
Spirit members continue to help out their local communities through sewing and donating masks, helping seniors with yard work and errands, and attend to their daily music practicing and lessons on Zoom.
